Food Resources Development Company (FRD) was established in 2003 as an individual establishment and with a seafood restaurant, and after 3 years, its founder sensed the importance of the role of the food sector and its economic size, especially the food and beverage management. Strategic goals and plans were developed, specialized cadres and staff were attracted, and the launch of Food Resources Development Company (FRD) was announced to be based in Assir region in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a paid-up capital of (15,000,000) as a Saudi Joint Stock Company.
Food Resources Development Company (FRD) is trying to be at the forefront of restaurant and cafe service providers with a variety of brands (Karkand Restaurant – Naranj Restaurant – Shayzar Palace Restaurant – Malabar Restaurant – Sal63on Restaurant- Yola Restaurant – Lounge Foie – Wmeq – Qootek store – Nutrition Sources – Sources of Support).
What distinguishes Food Resources Development Company (FRD) is its capabilities and infrastructure that enable it to compete with major international companies. It owns a central kitchen, the first in Assir region, which was opened in 2012.
It also owns the Feed Food Factory on a total area of 10,000 square meters.
In order to innovate in the rehabilitation of employees and the people of the region, a training center specialized in the field of food and beverages (management – hall – kitchen – food safety) has been established.
